Shirt Smart Quality Guarantee

Our shirts are not the lowest price on the market but they offer excellent value. We are so confident that you will love the quality and feel of the shirts that we make that we offer a quality guarantee for every customer. Simply put;

"If you are not happy with the quality of our shirt when your first one arrives, you can simply return the shirt and cancel your subscription, no questions asked."

Our Shirt Quality

Our shirts are not 'run of the mill', they are made to an extremely high quality standard. In addition to our very high quality selection of fabrics, we make sure that sure that each shirt is hand finished for our customers:

  • The side seams of the shirt are double French seams meaning the raw edges of the fabric are fully enclosed for a neat finish. The seam is first sewn with the wrong sides together, then the seam allowances are trimmed and pressed. A second seam is then sewn with the right sides together, enclosing the raw edges of the original seam. This means that the side seams are not only neat, they are also incredibly strong with the stitches able to move with the fabric.
  • We also French seam the arm holes so that they are not only strong but they are soft and comfortable to wear.
  • Our yoke seams are lapped, where the two layers overlap with the wrong side of the top layer laid against the right side of the lower layer, meaning that the seam sits comfortably across the shoulders.
  • We also add a sleeve tab to our cuffs to add strength and durability and because the cuffs are also French seamed, if you do like folding back your cuffs there will be no unsightly threads visible.
  • At the bottom of your shirt placket you will always find a spare button or two in the unlikely event that one of your buttons does come lose.
  • We only use the finest 100% cotton and cotton mixes for those after a different look and feel of fabric. All of our fabrics are produced by some of the finest mills in the World and are of the highest quality, and come with our Quality Guarantee (link to quality guarantee).
  • And each one of our shirts comes with a 'born on' date on the label so that you know exactly when your bespoke shirt was made.

"If you are not happy with the quality of our shirt when your first one arrives, you can simply return the shirt and cancel your subscription, no questions asked."

I am going to make another video going through each aspect of the shirt and showing the quality of it and am doing that in the next week or so and please find below some bits and pieces that we can add to the site about this to go with the video
